The Szczecin Agricultural University held the EJPAU Editorial Management Board meeting in Miedzyzdroje on the 12th of May 2000.
The Board elected their Chairman; again the choice of Prof. Jerzy Sobota was unanimous. The electoral procedure was followed by Prof. Jolanta Zieziula, Vice-President of the Szczecin Agricultural University, presenting the nomination acts to the members of the Editorial Management Board for the 2000 ? 2002 term in office. The session of the Board members, chairmen of the editorial boards of respective series and their assistants covered the following current affairs:
term in office of editorial boards, both foreign and domestic, was prolonged up to 5 years
starting from 2001 the authors will make some financial contribution to cover the costs of publishing their papers in EJPAU
it was agreed that the series name of Geodesy and Cartography suggested neither threatens nor infringes the copyrights of the quarterly available under the same name published by PAN
domestic (88.5%) and foreign (11.5%) reviews were analysed
a team was established to make a list of conditions to be fulfilled for the Journal to enter PHILADELPHIA LIST
over January ? April 2000 EJPAU was visited by 11 000 Internet users from 20 countries
in 2001 a CD-Rom with papers published for the last three years will be marketed; by then all the articles will have been available online
launching the promotion of the Journal both at home and abroad was agreed to be indispensable activity of the Editorial Board of each series
it was agreed to create ?ready-to-print covers? for papers published in each series
the funds obtained from KBN were allocated according to the number of papers scheduled in each series for the current year
the seminar participants were given the opportunity to listen to the speech, ?Electronic publications?
The main objective of the Editorial Management Board is to help EJPAU score 5 in the domestic journal ranking
