A subsequent meeting of the Editorial Management Board of the EJPAU was convened on November 23, 1999 in the Senate Hall of the University of Podlasie in Siedlce.

The welcome to the members of the Editorial Management Board, chairmen and secretaries of the editorial boards was given by Prof. Andrzej Radecki, Rector of the University of Podlasie in Siedlce, and Prof. Jerzy Sobota, Chairman of the Editorial Board of the EJPAU.

Prof. Radecki presented nomination acts to the chairmen of the new series of the EJPAU: Geodesy and Cartography and Horticulture.

The ceremony was followed by the chairmen's information on the papers submitted to the editorial boards, and a discussion about the forms of promotion and graphic and technical aspects of the papers published in the EJPAU.

A lengthy discussion afterwards focused on the journals ranking, announced by the State Committee of Scientific Research. The EJPAU scored 3 points on a scale of 5 though its lifetime has been relatively short.

The meeting was closed by Prof. Sobota, who expressed thanks to the members of the Editorial Management Board and Editorial Boards of all the series for their creativity in establishing and developing of the first scientific electronic journal in Poland.

It was agreed that the next meeting would be held at the Agricultural University of Szczecin.
