SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITIONS INFLUENCING LIVES OF HPI PROJECTS’ PARTICIPANTS’ IN POLAND, WITH EMPHASIS ON ROLES OF A MAN AND A WOMAN

ABSTRACT



The research was conducted for the Heifer Project International (HPI) Foundation – a non-government organization that supports development of small family farms. From August till October 2004 participants of twelve HPI projects from seven provinces filled in the questionnaire, which aimed at getting to know women’s and menĺs situation as far as family and professional duties are concerned, and also when it comes to their involvement in social activities.
